Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Jefferey Thomas Wilson, age 61

Jefferey Thomas Wilson, 61, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away January 6th, 2023 to be welcomed into heaven with loving arms by his Mom and Dad Jim & Mary Wilson.  Jeff, or as most called him “Bodeine” was born in Garden Grove California November 23rd, 1961.

Jeff lived life to the fullest, and we mean the fullest.  His passions were sneaking across Military Road and fishing for monster bass.  Or in California he would get a new bike from “Santa” and have it taken apart in a day or two.  Jeff loved to tinker.  It was really funny visiting with Jeff in his shop asking him about this or that, maybe a generator or a weed eater.  Does that run Bodeine?  What about this one Jeff?  His answer – ‘awe that one needs this or that one needs that’.   He loved tinkering as he loved each and everyone of his family members, he loved all of us with a passion!!!  To have known Jeff was to have loved Jeff.

Jefferey leaves behind his older brothers Jimmy Wilson (Sue) & Tony Placzkowski (Vivian) and his youngest brother Tim Wilson (Samantha).  Jeff also leaves behind his one and only sister that he loved dearly Lisa Barber and her husband Ron.  Jeff’s tinkering buddy…

Uncle Jeff leaves behind his nieces and nephews Tiffany Wilson, Justin Haycook, Jacob & Chandler Wilson & Olivia German and many, many other family members, and friends.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents Mary and Jim Wilson along with his Nephew Mel Booth Jr.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 2:00pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com

Oh God Jeff I’m hurting the most I have ever hurt in my life brother. I’m lost without my big brother to show me how to fix things like that damn chainsaw. Maybe this will help me get the pain out I’m feeling Jeff. I loved you and I know you knew that so that helps a few tears for a minute – crap and they come flowing down once again. Deep sorrow means how deeply I loved ya Bodeine. Well tomorrow is the big day and I got you covered Jeff. You got a seat on the front row like you used to say. It’s your day brother and dang it’s tearing me apart already so if you don’t mind, help carry me through the day, gonna need some help bro. I could write for days about you. You are free and an innocent boy entering heaven, man that’s gotta be cool seeing Mom and Dad. You are free Jeff, no more pain and your work is done. Fly my brother fly, God needed you as an Angel for some reason that will bless us. I love you, Woodrow

You will be missed cousin. The best memory I have of us together is when my dad, mom and myself came to visit y’all in Little Rock. You put me on that donkey/horse and it bucked me right off. You felt so bad and all I could do was laugh. Of course we got in trouble but we had a great time!! I will miss you cousin. Until I see you again…. Love ya💜
