Katherine Ann Harbin, age 60, of Atkins, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2022. She was born in Minot, North Dakota on September 27, 1962 to the late Jerry Wayne Harbin and Jeanne Marie Wold.

Katherine was a RN, BSN who before retirement, worked endless hours caring for her patients and their loved ones. She saved countless lives, and took excellent care of the ones she nursed through their last days. She took new Nurses under her wing, and trained them with her endless knowledge. It was her passion to be the light in her patient’s and coworker’s time of need.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents and her son Tommy Wayne Rentfro.
She leaves behind her daughter Melissa West (Allen) of Dover, Arkansas; grandchildren Sophie West, Laudie West, Silas West, and Cooper West; significant other Stanley Birge of Atkins, Arkansas; step-children John and Brittany Pratt of Dardanelle, Arkansas and Ashley and Chris Horn of Delaware, Arkansas; step-grandchildren Dayton Pratt, Riley Jo Pratt, Harper Pratt, and Austin Horn; brothers Melvin Harbin (Shelley) of Flower Mount, Texas and Sam Harbin of Ray, North Dakota; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout Arkansas.

Kathie, you will be missed so much. I wish that so many miles between us kept us from having more time together. I still remember the great time when you and Melissa and your mom and I went to the Medora musical in Medora, North Dakota. I think of that time so often. Kathie, I loved you dearly.
