Penny L Jones, 66, of Cabot, Arkansas, went to be with the lord on January 14, 2023, after a short battle with lung cancer. Penny was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; she loved her daughter tremendously and continued that love to her grandsons with a passion unmatched by anything. She enjoyed spoiling them rotten, taking them to MLB games, WWE events, and Spring Break trips to Branson. Penny “dime” loved going on rides in the side by side with Gary, Kim, and her dog Chloe. Penny worked for Snap-On Tools for 35 years where she made many lifelong friends.
Penny loved her family and will be missed deeply. She is survived by her daughter Misty Wyles (Jeremiah); two grandsons, Preston and Jaxson Wyles; six brothers, Gary (Kim) Dickson, Larry Dickson, Johnny (Annette) Hammons, Larry (Karen) Hammons, Derrick (Shelia) Dickson, and Russell Dickson; two sisters Melinda Buchanan and Jamie (Joe) Carmical; six nieces, Cher Buchanan, Brooklyn Carmical, Samantha (James) Adkins, Laura (Chad) Pryor, Chelsea (Kirby) Johnson, Amanda Breazeale; four nephews, Chance Buchanan, Barron (April) Dickson, Jeff (Amanda) Hammons, and Jared Hammons; and many extended family and friends.
Penny is preceded in death by her parents Billy (Marilyn) Dickson, Mary (Waymon) Hammons and her dear friend Claire Acklin.
