David Marc Hutcheson (Hutch), age 72, of Jonesboro, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on January 5, 2023. He was born in Joliet, Illinois on July 20, 1950 to the late William A. Hutcheson and Wilma Kathryn Ferguson-Hutcheson.
David was a United States Army Ranger in the Vietnam War for two years. He enjoyed deer hunting and collecting guns. He attended UCLA where he received his Electrical Engineering Degree. David worked in the sales department at IBM and National Semiconductor for many years. He was also a Store Manager at Radio Shack. David married his best friend of 25 years, Beverly Fay Hutcheson, in 2020. He was loving and kind and had a beautiful sense of humor. His smile would light up the room. Although he fought cancer for 23 years, David always maintained a positive attitude. He was one of a kind and was loved greatly.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Beverly (Passmore) Hutcheson, are his daughter, Veronica (Roni) Hutcheson of Carrollton, TX; his son, Matthew (Matt) Hutcheson of Dublin, TX; Beverly’s son, Michael Passmore and his wife Rachael of Rochester, MN; five grandchildren, Raiden and Baylor Parham, Meadow Smith of Texas, Bella and Lily Passmore of Minnesota; one brother Tom Hutcheson and his wife Diane of California; two sisters Marsha Foy and Kathy Swims of California; friends that were like his family Tommie Faulkner and Shirley Rollow of Jonesboro; and many more extended family members and friends too numerous to name.
A family-hosted celebration of life will be held at a later date in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
