Gloria Dean Baker Lewis, age 70, of Keo, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2023. She was born on June 11, 1952 to the parents of Anniebell and Fred Baker. She was one of six children.
She married Charles Edward Lewis in May of 1972. They had four children, Daphanee, Tiffiney, Charles and William. Gloria was a dedicated and active parent within her children lives.
Gloria Lewis started her walk with Christ in 1974 when she became a member of the Maypole Avenue Church of Christ in Chicago, IL. She was always an active member of her congregation. She served as a Sunday School teacher, Wednesday night bible class teacher, Food pantry coordinator and Youth Director. However, her passion was singing. She loved singing and enjoyed being a part of Choral Singing within the Church. She eventually moved to Arkansas and became an active member of the Lewis Street Church of Christ. Even after health issues prevented her from being amongst the saints, she did not let that stop her from finding a way to serve God and to support and encourage her brothers and Sisters in Christ.
Being an active Christian for the lord was always first. This was something that she instilled in her children in their youth and as adults. Doing nothing was never a part of who she was. She ALWAYS used her talents to be creative, motivating and uplifting in everything she did in church and outside of church.
She leaves behind siblings, Patsy, Linda, Mable and step siblings, Bernard, Reginald, Reola and June Faye. She leaves behind one Daughter in-law TaQuisha Lewis and one Son in-law, Hubert Campbell. She leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Ariel Jessica, Dejhari William, Ethan Roosevelt and sweet Zymouri Jane. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
If you knew Gloria Lewis you were always welcomed with a smile. If you knew Gloria Lewis you knew she had a big heart. If you knew Gloria Lewis you knew she LOVED the LORD. If you knew Gloria Lewis, you knew YOU were LOVED.

Mrs. Gloria I am going to miss you, when I first started at asp, you made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Everyday that I would see you, you always had a bright smile on your face. I am sending my prayers and condolences to your family.
very sweet. love her
She was a very Special Lady. I worked with her at ASP., for years. Loved her.
When she came to work at ASP, we bonded immediately. We may have come from different backgrounds and cultures but our love of the LORD is what kept our friendship strong. I knew I could always reach out to her for love and support. She was more than a co-worker – she was my friend. I’m going to miss you Gloria. Rest in Peace.
Mrs. Gloria, you will be missed. RIL
You have my deepest condolence and prayer! Gloria and I graduated from high school together. I remember her as being an “A” student. Gloria and I had recently reestablished contact with each other when I became President of GAA (Gartrell Alumni Association). She gave me much encouragement and inspiration for the task at hand. She was a beautiful person inside and out! One of her comments to me I will always cherish was:”I am so proud of you!” (in reference to becoming President of GAA and . reorganizing it). A Resolution was given to Gloria’s neighbor to be presented to the family.
GOD BLESS 🙏
