James Powell, age 61, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born on August 23, 1961 to the late Hansel James Powell and Maryann Williams-Powell.
James was a very hardworking man. He worked for the City of North Little Rock for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and listening to music.
James is preceded in death by his parents; sister Patsy Mosley (Robert Mosley); and nephews John Jacob Mosley and Michael Mosley.
He leaves behind his brothers Roger Powell (Sandra), Larry Powell, and David Powell (Lisa); lifelong friend Travis French; and many more friends and extended family members.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00pm at Union Hill Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Arkansas Children’s Hospital or Arkansas Hospice in honor of James.
