Jerry Clark Mabry, 83, of Brinkley, Arkansas passed away on February 1, 2023. He was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma on March 22, 1939, to the late Guy P Mabry and Clarice Inez Hall-Mabry.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his Son Kelly Mabry and his brother James Mabry (Carol); as well as many extended family and many friends.
Jerry grew up in Baytown, Texas and graduated from Robert E. Lee High school. While he was in high school, he was a prolific nationally ranked cross-country runner and continued to run for many years. Jerry graduated with his bachelor’s in teaching from the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Education at Texas A&M. He also attended Sam Houston University in Texas. He served for 40 years as a teacher, an Educational Diagnostician, and in many administrative roles. His skills, training, and exercise Routines allowed him to help his son overcome and beat Cerebral Palsy. He was a dedicated and amazing person that helped many children. He will be missed by all that knew him.
