We are so sorry to hear of your loss ! She was our Sunday Schoo teacher and friend who we admired so much. The first remember Adah while singing Ivory Places with Palph Parks at Immanuel Baptist Church on our first Sunday back on the early 70’s. She was such a sweet lady and servant of our Lord Jesus. Today, I am sure she heard the words “Well done thou good and faithful servant”. She will be greatly missed. Praying for Bob, Cindy and all of the family.

Adah came to El Dorado and then join Immanuel, she sang in the Choir. As a young boy, the first time I heard her sing, I took note! She RAISED the roof!!! What a powerful voice this woman had, She will be missed.

Mrs. Adah was a beautiful lady inside and out. We were a close “family” when we sang together in Spiritual Life Singers, that included our parents. I will miss her and Immanuel Baptist will miss her. God bless you Cindy and Mr. Bob. I love you both.

I am one of Adah’s 3 sisters. She was a sweet person and a very good sister. For many years the 5 of us, before our mother died, experienced wonderful gatherings at our different homes talking, eating, shopping and best of all laughing. I will say she created a lot of those laugh experiences. The things she said and “remembered” were priceless. I’ve laughed again at some of those antics in the last couple of days. I will miss her terribly and I loved her dearly. Goodbye my good friend.

Adah Mayhan was a mainstay at Immanuel Baptist Church. She was truly there every time the doors were open. She was secretary for one of our staff members , she helped plan and participate in many of the events that we had, she was a big part of the music ministry, Sunday School teacher, part of the Ladies Ministry, a true friend to so many . Our favorite memories of her will be her knowledge of the Lord, her ability to teach and share the Word, her servants heart, she always had time to hear about how things were going with you, she cared about every soul that she encountered as she walked her daily walk. She was a true example of what a faithful woman of God should be. Blessings to Bob, Cindy and the family as you allow Jesus to carry you through this journey. Mrs. Adah, we can’t wait to see your mansion that God prepared for you with our own eyes some day. We love you beautiful lady of God.

Adah was my Sunday school teacher at Immanuel Baptist church. I remember her with that yellow legal pad she used for her notes in teaching. She was such a devout christian. I also remember her leading the Ladies Luncheons for years. We had such a great time at her 80th Birthday party where we had buttons made up of “Adah’s 80”. She was a wonderful friend, and it was a true blessing to be in her circle. I thank the Lord she was placed in my life. One other thing, her fingernails and lipstick always matched. Beautiful and distinguished. She will truly be missed.

Mrs. Adah was a dear friend to our mother Marilyn, and they had a color analysis biz together. So fun to hear their kind compliments to their customers and sharing their love of God along the way and in all they did. God bless you Bob and Cindy
