Brenda Carolyn (House) Horn, age 78

Brenda Carolyn (House) Horn, age 78, of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023.  She was born June 21, 1944 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Claude and Erma (Diederich) House.

Brenda retired from the United States Postal Service after 30 years of service. She was a faithful member of the Austin church of Christ. She loved big buck hunting and spending time outdoors. Always sewing, crocheting, and quilting, Brenda loved to see and create blankets, clothes, and gifts for loved ones and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Brenda is preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Hubert Horn.

She is survived by her sons; Dennis Ray (Kim Hammonds) Horn, Daryl Keith (Barbara) Horn; ten grandchildren, Christen (Michael) Blythe, D.J. Horn, Kasie Horn, Kyle (Kristal) Horn, Thomas Horn, Dennis (Sara) Johnson, Whitney (Matt) Leggett, Brad (Kailyn) Johnson, Rebecca Ballew, and Jarred Ballew, five great-grandchildren; Garrett, Peyton, and Ayden Blythe, Emily Horn and Jenna Johnson. Four brothers; Jimmy, Ricky, David and Larry House and two sisters Wanda House and Sharon Worden as well a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 5 pm-7 pm in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.

Graveside funeral arrangements will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 10 am at Old Austin Cemetery located at the intersection of Hwy 38 and 319 in Austin, Arkansas, 72007.

    Dear Dennis, Daryl and Families
    We are saddened by the quick passing of Brenda. However, we rejoice in her homecoming with our Lord and Hubert.
    We will have fond memories of Brenda, her awesome hunting abilities and her friendship throughout the years.
