James Louis “JL” Branch Jr, age 78

James Louis “JL” Branch Jr, age 78, of Cabot, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 30, 2023. He was born in England, Arkansas on November 13, 1944 to the late James Louis Branch Sr and Jewel Arnetta Farmer.

James is preceded in death by his parents; son James Louis Branch III; and grandson Kyle Deblock Branch. He leaves behind his wife June Branch; children Kimberly Roth, Tammy Young (Jack) of Cabot, and Corey Branch of Cabot; step-children Christopher Benedict, Jennifer Giddings (Charles) of Florida, James Graham (Victoria), and Jason Graham; grandchildren Samantha Brown (Crystal) of Longview, Texas, Katelyn Bartek (Nicholas) of Quincy, Florida, Matthew Carter (Angela) of Arlington, Texas, Brittany Owens of Cabot, Kayla Bell (Colby) of Ward, Madeline Rodriquez (Adrian), Margaret Giberson (Crys) of Jacksonville, Mackenzie Young, Corey Branch of Jacksonville, Brent Hancock, Jasmine Hancock, and Katlyn Graham; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Patsy Nance of Missouri and Gerald Don Branch (Beverly) of McRae; and many more friends and family members.

James loved his faith and the Lord and was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas. Before retiring for health reasons, he worked as a milkman and also drove a dump truck for many years. In his early 20’s, James enjoyed racing cars. One of his favorite things to do was rebuild cars in his garage. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 1:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:30pm at Victory Baptist Church in Cabot, Arkansas.
