Jason Douglas “Jay” Clegg, age 47, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Saturday March 4, 2023 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Hollandale, Mississippi on November 23, 1975 to James Clegg and the late Donna Clegg O’Bryant.
Jason was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his children Jason and Dilyn Clegg of Wynne, AR; his sisters Kim (Mark) Hutchinson and Jaime (Shawn) Chafin of Niagara Falls, NY; brother Marc Clegg of San Angelo, TX; nieces and nephews Brionna, Brittany, Brian, Jenna and Zack; ex-wife Stephanie Stallings and cherished friend Jennifer Fields and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason was predeceased by his mother, paternal grandparents Everett and Helen Clegg and maternal grandparents Lynford and Ruth Erway.
Jason was a master mechanic and loved restoring old luxury cars. He enjoyed music, especially oldies and underground rap. Jay’s words to live by were “I make big money, I drive big cars, Everybody know me, its like I’m a movie star!” -Geto Boys.
