Samuel Austin Adkins, age 45, a resident of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas passed away in his home on March 11, 2023.
Sam was a devoted Christian who graduated from Slidell High school in Louisiana. He was a loving father to Austin Adkins, Alexus Adkins, Katelynn Cox, and Kaden Cox. He is survived by his children; his significant other, Christina Cox; parents Clayton and Kathy Adkins; one brother Clay (Belinda) Adkins; one sister Elizabeth (Joe) Ormsby; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and tons of friends.
Sam loved hunting, fishing, boating, making crafts with his hands, and cooking. He was kind and generous man. He treated everyone he met as family and was always eager to help those in need. He touched many lives during his brief time on this earth. He is greatly missed here, but we know Sam has joined family and friends in heaven and will greet us again one day.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Big hugs for you my friend.
I love Sam like a brother and my heart is hurting.
Sam truly was my brother from another mother. We were instant friends and made some good memories. I love you, bro, and I’ll see you again one day.
Sam was a neighbor and a good friend he will be missed
Sam truly was a great friend. My fondest memory is his kind heart. He was always willing to help whether you thought you needed it or not. We had many long conversations about work, but I will mostly remember the conversations about the daily happenings of Capn (Austin). Always kept me in stitches. We will meet again my Brotha, until then hold down the fort!!

So sorry for your loss Clay, he’s with the Lord now 🙏
Sam and his brother Clay as teens would go to my Mom’s house with their uncle Butch? And cut the grass. All they asked for in payment was a meal. Mom would ask what they wanted to eat and she would cook it. They were great kids. Rest In Peace Sam. You will be missed. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻And ❤️❤️❤️
