Woody Herman Thompson, age 63, of Carlisle, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born in Beebe, Arkansas on April 11, 1959 to the late Herman Thompson and Betty Berry Fisher.
Woody enjoyed being surrounded by his wife, kids, and grandkids. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved his Boozefighter MC family of which he was a 30-year veteran. He loved to refurbish antique vehicles and collect Civil War memorabilia. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting deer and squirrels.
Woody leaves behind his wife Mary “Jodi” Thompson of Carlisle, Arkansas; daughters Patricia Thompson of Springfield, Georgia and Tanya Angew of Carlisle, Arkansas; bonus children Emily Karr (Michael) of Stuttgart, Arkansas, James Wood of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Josh Vest (Lisa) of Kirkland, New Mexico; grandchildren Rebecca, Ayla, Julian, Thomas, Jonathan, Denver, James, Samuel and Everliegh; brothers Tracy Hamilton (Jackie) of Alabama, James Hamilton (Ellen) of Benton, Arkansas, Tom Hamilton (Joy) of Florida, and Tim Thompson (Lauren) of Missouri; and many more friends and extended family members.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10:00am with a visitation starting at 9:00am at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Interment to follow at Hickory Plains Cemetery.

Brother you will be missed, we were together in the club for 30 years and Woody was one of my sargent at arms while I was president of 67.
