Barbara Jane Murphy, 79, of Hot Springs passed away on April 20, 2023, in Hazen, Arkansas. She was born on November 6, 1943, to JC Rush and Helen Rush.
She enjoyed quilting, cooking, loved watching her hummingbirds. She worked at Walmart for many years. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She also loved going to Church and serving God. She was a loving friend to many and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill Murphy; her daughter Ella Marie Heird, and all her siblings.
Barbara leaves behind her sons Benny Turner (Rita) and Eddie Turner (Jean); her grandchildren Hydi, Camron, Wade, Whitney, and Frankie; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023, at 1:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm in the chapel of A Natural State Funeral Service with interment to follow at Old Carlisle Cemetery.
