So sorry for the loss of my cousin, Steve. We enjoyed some memorable times, especially as youngsters at our grandparents home in Stewart, MS when our whole family would enjoy a reunion type atmosphere every summer. Great meals and fun times with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

When I think of Steve I think of a tiny snippet of a memory that has stuck with me since the 6th grade. Kenny was in my class and we were headed out to recess. Steve, who was in another class, was looking out the open window in his classroom, calling for Kenny. I remember thinking he looked so cool. His shirt had the full sleeves and big cuffs and he looked like a surfer with his blond hair blowing in the wind. Strange how moments stick in one’s mind and it is how I’ll always think of him. I know this is a big loss and I hope the special moments each of you hold bring you strength and comfort.
Love and prayers
