Herschel Wayne Harrison, age 70, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 1, 1952 to the late James Roy Harrison Sr. and Ami Dell Holland.
Herschel proudly served in the Army Reserve. He loved camping, boating on the lake, and dancing. He was also an avid and talented billiards player.
Herschel is preceded in death by his parents; his brother James Roy Harrison Jr; and his nephew Jason Carroll Harrison. He leaves behind his son Michael Wayne Harrison; daughter Toni Michelle Wells (Mitchell); grandson Sebastian Harrison; granddaughters Katie Wells and Kerrigan Wells; step-grandsons Jake Wells (Kari) and Lance Wells (Bre); great-granddaughter Felicity Wells; sisters Barbara Dollarhide and Erma Dean Miller (James); brothers Harvey Carroll Harrison and Charles Edward Harrison (Patricia Anne); a host of nieces and nephews; and many more friends and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:00pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel of A Natural State Funeral Service; 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Interment will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 9:00am at the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

I was so sorry to hear of Herschel’s passing. He was always so nice and friendly to everyone. I will always remember his beautiful smile and his big laugh. My sincere condolences to his family and friends
Herschel was such a great guy and breathe of fresh air any time you saw him. Lots of old memories at BJ’s. Prayers to all his family during this difficult time.
