Yasha was my best friend . She knew me better then anyone. When we spoke together her heart opened up and she knew exactly what to say when I was down. Yasha was my mentor. Her heart of gold will be truly missed. Love you Yasha

Yasha and her natural ability to speak to anyone around her, as well as her quiet strength reminded me of my mother, and I’ll always be thankful for our late night texts about Life and chanting for change.

Yasha has been a rock for me many times throughout many of my vicarious situations. A spiritual guide if you will. One of my favorite memories of Yasha is the breakfast she cooked at the many campouts, we attended, not much could upset her either. One particular instance was at Kyle’s Landing in Jasper, AR we had gotten hit by a lot of rain overnight and Yasha’s tent was filled with 2-3 ft of water and she just laughed. Of course, most of us had to retreat to our cars! My friend will be greatly missed!

I met Jasha when we were in 6th grade. I remember she wore awesome hip hugger blue Jean bell bottoms and tube tops and thought how cool she was. We spent many hours walking to friends houses or hanging out down at the creek. We had such fun together and did cause a bit of trouble too. I was so happy she contacted me recently through Facebook. We spent a very short time of our lives together but she left a lasting impression. RIP Jasha💜

What an beautiful friendship I am so very grateful to have had with Yasha for so many years! I will forever cherish it. She had a no nonsense way of telling it like it is, but in a caring non-judgmental way. And that big small and old-school hug was what I always looked forward to when we were together! I will forever think of her when I am camping or rocking at a concert because she was so very fun at both of these! She loved her blood family and her extended family so very much! I will miss you so much until I see you again Yasha, Rock on sister!

Jadwiga and I were close childhood friends in California beginning in kindergarten. Fe & Bronik took me on many family vacations with them: Disneyland, skiing in Tahoe and the found memories of going into the city to visit her relatives (eating delicious Filipino dishes) Life happened and after Jadwiga moved away, we lost touch. I feel very blessed that we reconnected via Facebook and got to share cherished memories. Rest in peace my dear friend. Heaven has received another angel. 🙏🏼💜
