Veronika Maria Thomas, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. She was born August 23, 1946 in Mosbach Baden, Germany to the late Lawrence and Berta Johnson.
Veronika grew up in Little Rock and attended Central High School. She spent many years as a bus driver for Pulaski County Special School District before starting her own cleaning business which she operated until retiring. She was a member of Bingham Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Veronika is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Martin Worn Thomas; her father and mother; and her brother Tommy Johnson. She is survived by her children; son Michael (Reba) Thomas; two daughters Cindy Overstreet and Sheri Lott-Thomas; grandsons Dylan and Dalton Lott, Seth (Sara) Campbell, Jake Henry, Landon Thomas; great-granddaughter Paisley Campbell; sister Betty Ann Robertson; brother Clayton (Denise) Johnson; special nephew Mark Litwa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at Bingham Road Baptist Church; 923 West Bingham Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
