Charlotte Rae Townsend, age 68, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2023. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 26, 1955 to the late Charles Raymond Cagle and Aneta Jane McCollum.
Charlotte graduated from Bradford High School in Bradford, Arkansas in 1974. She loved being outdoors and watching the nature, as well as doing puzzles. Charlotte also had quite the green thumb. She loved to grow house plants so much. It was something she took great pride in. Charlotte was an amazing mother who loved her family with her whole heart. She will truly be missed by all who loved her.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clay Roger Townsend; one sister Jeteela Cagle; and one brother Charles Cagle, Jr.
She leaves behind her two children Jeteela Fletcher (Afton) of Mountain View and Bret Cagle (Angel) of Lamar; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters Jean Cagle and Sheila Medlock; one brother Allen Poe; stepfather Sonny Poe; and many more friends and extended family.
