Dwight will be sorely missed. He was a gentleman at heart. He was a great boss and am so thankful that he hired me. You could not find a better man than Dwight. He loved God and was always quoting scripture. He could have been a preacher. I know he is pain free and rejoicing with his Savior.

I worked with Dwight for many years and have always had a great deal of respect for him. He was very detailed in his work. He was a trucking safety expert. Dwight coined the phrase, “Safety is no Accident!” I have always thought of him each time I’ve used that phrase in business. Beyond being a professional, Dwight was a man of integrity and care for others. To his daughters and other family—may your most fond memories of Dwight bring you comfort.

I was blessed to have known and worked with Dwight. He always treated me like a daughter, but respected me as a young lady learning my path . I loved working for & with him. He was passionate and loved sharing his stories and insight to life. He touched my life and heart. I was blessed to have him in my life.

I remember going to Uncle Dwight and Aunt Charlotte’s in the summer of 1974. He took us fishing at a small pond in a cow pasture. He tied fishing line on the end of bamboo poles and used liver for bait. We caught a bunch of catfish and had a big fish fry. He taught us how to cut up the fish and his mom taught my mom how to cook them. I’m not sure who had more fun, us catching fish or him watching us. He was truely a Good Guy.
