Gerald Douglas Kemp, age 62, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. He was born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada on May 21, 1961 and was raised in Greenville, Illinois by the late Harold Douglas Kemp and Hilda Irene Wartman-Kemp.
Gerald was a very hardworking man. He enjoyed listening to Rock N Roll music and watching sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals. Gerald was a big family man who loved being outside with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed attending family gatherings. Gerald was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Gerald leaves behind his wife Rebecca Kemp; sons Brett Kemp (Amy) and Kyle Kemp; grandchildren Mavis and Raven; sisters Brenda Jackson (Dwight) of Belleville, Illinois, Donna Norton of St. Louis, Missouri, and Angela Turner (Frank) of Pontiac, Illinois; brother-in-law Mickey Kamer (Carol); and many more friends and extended family.
