Ted Windle Claunch, age 77 of Mount Vernon, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 6, 1946 to the late John Edward Claunch and Verlon South.
Ted was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He loved his family and will be missed dearly by those who cherished him.
Ted leaves behind his wife Brenda Fay Claunch; children Geoff Claunch, Andrea Allen, Ron Pipkin, Alicia Bell, and Chris Pipkin; siblings Anita Pinkston and Ed Claunch; and multiple loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A family hosted memorial service will be held in Ted’s honor on Saturday, May 27, 2023 time and location are TBA and will be posted once set.

Ted was a friend, classmate and fellow athlete at Westside, a very kind gentle giant. He will always be remembered and lived by many people. Rest in Peace dear friend.
I went to High School with Ted. I am very sorry to hear this but he is flying high now. May he rest in peace. Till we meet again in a better place🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
