Charles H. Ketzscher, age 85

Charles H. Ketzscher, age 85, of North Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 22, 2023. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 7, 1937 to the late Alfred Ketzscher and Nina Foster Ketzscher.

Charles proudly served in the United States Military for 33 years. He was also the manager of the Sherwood Bowling Center for several years and was a proud member of the Central Arkansas Bowling Hall of Fame.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald Ketzscher.

He leaves behind his wife Marti Ketzscher; children Sean Eric Ketzscher (Sissy) and Robin Dyer; brother A.C. Ketzscher (Janet); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held in Charles’s honor on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 10:30am in the chapel of A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas. A private burial will take place at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas after the service.

    Charles has been a
    Best Friend and Buddy for many years. I will miss him dearly, but, he is now in the presence
    of our Lord Jesus Christ. Prayers and Peace to Marty, Sean, and entire family. Love

    Charles you are. such a delightful person. Always smiling and laughing. I will miss seeing you when I come to visit. I enjoyed our coffee at Linda Turnage’s out on the patio. I know you are in a better place now. Please know I love you and Mar very much .

    I will never forget all the times of sitting outside on the back porch with you and pop and just talking and launching and reminiscing or the times we would stand over by the boat and talk about planning a fishing trip! But now him and pop can do all the fishing they want! He will never be forgotten and dearly missed! I love you ole man! And my love and condolences go to the family. We love y’all!

    MARTI & SEAN, WE WILL MISS CHARLIE’S BOLD VOICE. HE WAS SUCH A KIND MAN, I ENJOYED EVERY CONVERSATION WITH HIM. I HOPE HE KNEW HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE HIS SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.     Sure going to miss Charlie. It wont be the same when we do his yard work, Charlie would always be in the garage watching us and tapping on the window to come talk to him. Thank you for your many years of service for our country. Our thoughtss and prayers are with all who knew Charlie.Rest in peace Charlie we love you and will miss you.God bless you.

    For the past 37 years we have been next door neighbors to Charlie and Marti. Words cannot express or describe the friendship we have shared during all these years. Thank you Charlie for your service in the military . There are so many wonderful memories that our family have of this great man. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.
