It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diann Miller Graham, who left this world on May 29, 2023. She was born on February 12, 1963, Diann was truly a remarkable woman who will be forever missed by everyone who loved her.
Diann is survived by her son, Darren Joseph Jacoby; her daughters, Karen Yvonne Jacoby and Jessica Dianne Jacoby (Bobby Cousette); her mother, Lois Miller Rose; her brothers, Frank and David Miller(Brenda) and her sister, Janis Smith. She was predeceased by her greatest hero, her father, Henry “Bud” Miller; her best friend/sister, Susan Brown; and her nephew, Aaron Hylton and many other family and friends.
Diann’s memory will continue to be cherished by her grandchildren, Eliza Hope Jacoby, Andrew Izaiah Jacoby, Cadence Lynn Keene, Lyndzy Grace Jacoby, Kyzer Edward Jacoby, Logan Erik Jacoby, Makayla Elizabeth Shuffield, Devonte Xzavier Cousette, Bobby Lee Cousette Jr., Lauralyn Kathleen Shuffield, Taleah Faith Cousette and a great-grandson Rowan Mccoy.
Diann was known for her rambunctious, beautiful, smart, passionate, stubborn, loving, and caring personality, Diann leaves behind a profound legacy in the city of Jacksonville. Her love for her family, friends, and particularly her grandchildren, will never be forgotten.
Diann was an advocate for social justice and was a consultant for some members of Congress. She taught others the importance of loving fiercely and wholeheartedly. Diann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren the most, indulging in her favorite foods such as Chinese food, and sipping on iced tea, coffee, and strawberry shakes. Purple was her favorite color, reflecting her vibrant spirit.
The lasting impact of Diann’s life will be felt and remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. We take comfort in the knowledge that her love, wisdom, and passion for life will continue to inspire us and live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Rest in peace, Diann Miller Graham. We love you mama and you will be forever missed! Your baby girl, J!
