Fred B. Wroten Jr., age 85

Fred B. Wroten Jr., 85, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away June 13, 2023. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on April 12, 1938.

Fred attended Little Rock public Schools, graduating from Horace Mann High School, Class of 1956. After high school, Fred went into military service serving in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. After his stint in the service, Fred returned to Arkansas and worked at various jobs until retirement.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fred B Wroten Sr. and Mable Thompson-Watkins; and his loving son Tony Pitts.

Fred is survived by his daughter Connie Pitts-Couch of Jacksonville; his brother Dwayne Watkins of Dallas, Texas; and many extended family and friends.
