Glenn Griffin Jr, age 72

Mr. Glenn Griffin Jr. of North Little Rock, Arkansas, was called home to rest from his labor on May 30, 2023. He was born to the late Mr. Glenn “Bo” Griffin Sr. and Mrs. Nina Mae Harris Griffin on October 7, 1950, in De Witt, Arkansas where he attended schools in St. Charles and Immanuel school districts.

Glenn, known to many as Jr, worked many years as a truck driver for American Best Freight Company (ABF). He loved playing dominoes, eating his wife’s cooking, gardening, and fishing. He loved his family dearly and spending time with them.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; one brother James R. Griffin Sr.; and one daughter Chiquita M. Griffin.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Mrs. Gwendolyn M. Griffin; two sons Eric J. Griffin and Daylon M. Cohns (Raegan Bryant); one daughter Carla R. Huggins (Bobby T. Jr.); two grandsons Cayden C. Griffin and Christian J. Griffin; one sister Mary Ann Avery; a special cousin Diane Holloway (Julius); one aunt, Mrs. Annie Lee London; two brothers-in-law Larry D. Cohns (Linda), and Rodney Cohns; three sisters-in-law Diane Hobbs, Wilma J. Davis (Johnnie) and Sandra K. Jones (Prince); long-time friends Joe Eskridge (Rose) and Wesley Sisley (Shirley); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The repast will be held after the funeral service at Grace Baptist Church in the Arc building at 408 North Walkers Corner Road, Scott, Arkansas.

    Mrs. Griffin and family we are so sorry about the loss of Mr. Griffin. He was certainly a very good and proud man that will be missed by all that knew him. He is suffering no more and on his way to glory. May God Bless and Comfort your Family during this tough time.
