Jolee Renee Russell, age 60, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 28, 1962 to Joseph Sherman Russell and Florence Marie Verchota.
Jolee is preceded in death by her mother Florence Verchota (2007) and her step-mother Deborah Sue Russell (2010).
She leaves behind her father Joseph Russell; siblings Trina Griffiths (Kent), Erica Russell, Tara Russell and Austin Russell; niece Zoey Russell; nephew Bryar Smith (Morgan); and many other beloved family members and friends.
Jolee was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and leaves behind many that were a second family to her. Her faith was unwavering.
The family would like to thank Beebe Retirement Center for all the wonderful care that they provided Jolee over the past 14 months. A special thank you to Terri Lowery and Patricia Goff for their friendship and excellent care they provided Jolee.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Judsonia, Arkansas.

I am saddened to hear of Jolee’s passing. I pray that God will comfort the family and friends.
Jolee was my mother’s roommate for a brief time while at Beebe Retirement Center this past spring. Even though she was struggling physically she maintained a smile and kind words.
My last memory of her is from one evening I brought them both McDonald’s for their dinner.
She was so very happy and thankful to get that from our family.
It wasn’t much, but to my mom and Ms. Jolee it meant the world!
Anything from the outside world that was different from the day to day helped both of them keep their spirits up.
I’m glad it helped her feel good even if for just those few minutes.
Mother was so sad to learn of her passing and both of us send our prayers and thoughts to all who knew and loved her.
Father God we thank You for Jolee and the time on earth that You gave her.
We pray that she is in Your loving arms for all eternity.
