Ruth Ellen Johnson Hardwick, age 76, of Searcy, Arkansas entered into rest in Jehovah’s loving memory on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas on September 15, 1946 to the late Morris Johnson and Nancy Laney-Reason.
Ruth loved paint by number artwork, reading, and watching Gunsmoke. She was an avid catalogue and online shopper and always enjoyed cooking and baking.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Penny Graves, Larry Johnson, Johnny Reason, and Sandra Bates.
She leaves behind her children Christine Havens (Todd), Andrew Pierce, and John Hardwick (Crystal); grandchildren Paul Glover, Joseph Glover, Ashley Pierce, and Megan Pierce; great-grandchildren Addalie Nash and Abram Pierce; siblings Tim Reason, Judy McCormick, Martha Casinger, Wade Reason, Janna Dudley, Micah Reason, Becky Reason, and Roy Reason; and many more friends and extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 3:00pm at the Judsonia Kingdom Hall; 908 AR 307, Judsonia, Arkansas 72081.
