Shirley Ann McConnell, age 80, of Maumelle, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2023. She was born to Roy and Rachel Bolick on January 22, 1943 in Keiser, Arkansas.
She was a loving wife to her husband, Foster Woodrow McConnell Jr whom she is preceded in death by. She is also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Roy G. “Shorty” Bolick.
She is survived by one sister Sherry Richardson of Blytheville Arkansas and one brother Bobby Bolick of Keiser Arkansas. She also leaves behind her four children Robert McConnell, Steve McConnell, Rachel Mercer, and Patrick McConnell and 12 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Shirley’s honor on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11:00am at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held after the graveside at 1:00pm at Fellowship Bible Church; 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, AR 72223.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Ms. Shirley. I worked with her at DF&A for several years. Great coworker always welling to help and answer all my questions. You have my deepest sympathy and wish you and your family all the comfort you need during this difficult time.
I am so sorry we lost Aunt Shirley. She was the sweetest lady and always had a kind word. To Robert, Stevie, Rachel and Patrick, all my love and prayers.
