Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Tammy Lynne Meloan, age 55

Tammy Lynne Meloan, 55, of Cabot Arkansas, passed away on May 4, 2023 on the hospice floor of the Saint Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock Arkansas.   She is now in Heaven with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ.   Her faith in God was important to her.  She read the Bible often and trusted in her heavenly Father.   She went to various churches in her life, Baptist, Non-Denominational, etc.  The last church she attended was Austin Station Baptist Church in Austin Arkansas.

Tammy was born at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on February 8, 1968 to Danny & Dianne Arnold.     The family moved around frequently, but eventually Tammy graduated from Merced High School in Merced California.   She had one year of college at Gulf Coast Community College in Florida.  She also went to a college in Clovis New Mexico.   She obtained Certificates for child care so she could run her own babysitting business in Florida.

Tammy loved her family.  She loved reunions and connecting with everyone.   She had various jobs, but most of them were caring for babies, children and disabled adults.  She loved and accepted people no matter the age or appearance, but she especially loved babies and children.   Tammy was quick to volunteer for activities and jobs.  She would work overtime to help others.   She suffered a number of physical ailments throughout her life, but she maintained a positive outlook on life, always ready to go forward and try again.  It was hard for others to ignore her infectious spirit.  She smiled a lot and laughed quite a bit.  Tammy was very affectionate and loved to give and receive hugs.  She will truly be missed.  Her nickname was “Little Miss”, but it should be “Big Miss” because of how much we will miss her.

She was married to Dale Silvernail from August 1988 to January 1990.   She was married to Roger Falgout from June 1996 to June 2000. Her final marriage was with David Meloan whom she married on October 11, 2008 in Tye Texas.  David Meloan dated her for 7 years before getting married.  She was married to him 14.5 years until she passed away.  She had no children from these unions, but had a deep desire to have a baby to care for.  She considered adoption, but that never materialized.  In Heaven, though, all her longings will be fulfilled.

Tammy was preceded in death by her still born daughter, Brandee Renee Arnold on July 2, 1985.  Tammy loved her and was preparing to be a good mother to her.  She had a baby book ready and planned for a baby shower, so losing her was quite devastating.  Tammy was only 17 when this happened.  It left a hole in her heart that was never fixed.   She eventually had peace about it by prayer and trusting in God that her baby was safe in heaven waiting for her.

Tammy is survived by her father and mother Danny & Dianne Arnold, and by her brothers David and Sonny, and by her husband David Meloan.

Tammy was cremated by the A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville Arkansas.  Her memorial service will be on June 12, 2023 at the Mildred B. Cooper chapel in Bella Vista, Arkansas at 10:00 am.   The graveside service will be the same day at the Noel cemetery in Noel, Missouri at 11:30 am where her urn will be buried.  This will be handled by the Ozark Funeral Homes at 100 Spring Street, Anderson Missouri, 64831 in case people want to send flowers or anything.

Tammy is walking streets of gold with her infant daughter surrounded by the fragrance, sights, sounds and love of her Heavenly Father. May the love of Jesus surround and comfort David and the rest of Tammy’s extended family.
