Carl Steven Bullock, age 69, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on January 30, 1954 to the late Roy Bullock and Alice Murray.
Carl enjoyed fishing and hunting. You could always find him outdoors. He loved spending time with his family and was especially close with his grandkids.
Carl leaves behind his children Ben Bullock (Thea), Brian Bullock (Audrey), Emily Mathews (Sam), and Sam Bullock; grandchildren Megan, Mason, Tanner, Jacob, and Olivia; sisters Brenda Long (Rex) and Julie Johnson; nephew Rex Allen Long; nieces Diana Long and Taylor Johnson; and many more friends and extended family.

I went to high school with Steve and Brenda. Steve was a great example of what is possible with great faith. He had quite a story and I loved hearing it later in life. I did not love, however, any single moment opposite him on the line of scrimmage during football practice. I wish his family peace.
Steve and I went to high school together and I married his cousin Larry Shadid. Over the years we reconnected through Facebook and IM each other several times. Sure wished we had been able to meet over coffee, but we never were able to connect. Lots of great memories!!! RIP Steve.
