Clarence Redmond “Clay” Logue, Jr., age 62

Clarence Redmond “Clay” Logue, Jr., 62, passed away on June 28, 2023 in Little Rock, AR.  He was born on January 13, 1961 in Savannah, GA to Clarence Redmond “Bunny” Logue, Sr. and Billie Sue “Bebe” Stoudenmire Logue.

Clay was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his father, and his sister, Elizabeth “Susanne”.  He is survived by his mother; brother, William Stoney “Billy” Logue; sister, Patricia Ann Logue Howard (Greg); aunts, uncles, and many cousins.  He is also survived by his girlfriend of several years, Elizabeth S. Conti.

Though Clay spent some time in the Army National Guard, he was the true definition of a free spirit.  He did not conform to the expectations of others.  He grew his hair long and wild and believed that it was his strength.  He was a talented artist that utilized both realistic and symbolic modes of drawing.  Though he enjoyed pastels on paper, his body was his favorite canvas.  The majority of the tattoos that covered his body were designed and applied personally.  He chose the open skies over brick and mortar, and traveled wherever the wind blew him, which consisted of most of this country; But he always called Savannah home.  Then he met Elizabeth and followed her to Little Rock.  Elizabeth describes him as a deeply spiritual person who attended Mass with her regularly.  He prayed the most heartfelt prayers that she had ever heard.  He was her earthly guardian angel.  And to the rest of his family, it is believed that she was his as well.
