Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Connie Sue Taylor Jones, age 71

Connie Sue Taylor Jones, 71, of Cabot took her final journey from this Earth to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. She was born on July 13, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William Alvie and Mamie Ruth McClellan Taylor.

She enjoyed spoiling those dear to her heart and never met a stranger. Her favorite jobs were dispatching for the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office and managing activities for the Clinton Senior Citizen Center because they provided opportunities for her to socialize. She treasured the company of all the children in her family, but nothing compared to the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Jones, and one brother, Michael Dean Taylor.

She is survived by two children: Jerry Don Wylie II and Lance Avery Witcher (Kathleen); two grandchildren: Miera and Corbett Witcher; three siblings: Phillip (Debbie) Taylor, Stacy (Gloria) Taylor, and Paula Snipes; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will hold a private celebration of her life.

Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com.

Connie was the most amazing woman I think I’ve ever known she was kind she was compassionate she was funny she stood up for what she needed to stand up for but you always knew she would be there to give you a hug or give you the tough talk whichever it needed I value her for so many things that I was able to change in my life because she helped me do that and I will always love her
