Roger Franklin Boyett Jr, age 55

Roger Franklin Boyett Jr. went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023 after suffering a Pulmonary Embolism. Roger was born at Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock on August 29, 1967.

The family moved to various towns in Arkansas in his childhood until settling in Woodward, Oklahoma. He attended Woodward High School and loved his school and all the Woodward Boomers sports teams. He served as a Team Manager for the football team and continued to stay in contact with many former classmates and attend Alumni activities throughout his life. Roger was an avid Los Angeles Lakers and Dodgers fan, but his pride and joy were the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was often seen wearing something with the Razorbacks on it. Roger work many jobs and was always recognized as a hard worker. Roger’s greatest love was for his Lord Jesus Christ. He was an active member of the Assemblies of God Church and attended weekly services his whole life. He especially loved the worship and had an extensive collection of Contemporary Christian Music.

Roger is survived by his parents Frank and Marilyn Boyett, his sister Melanie (Shawn), his brother Jonathan (Amy), and 6 nephews and a niece. He also leaves behinds a loving church family and friends that will miss him very much.

    Roger was in Youth with my boys and he was one of the most faithful in attending services and continued to until his passing. His familiar face will be missed in several places.

    Roger was a great guy that loved God and loved people. I always enjoyed seeing him at Turner Falls camp and teasing him about his Razorbacks. He will be
