Russell Paul Dike, age 89

Russell Paul Dike, age 89, of De Witt, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was born in Tichnor, Arkansas on July 19, 1934 to the late Warren Dike and Gladys Brown.

Russell proudly served in the United States Air Force. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and going to casinos. He loved spending time with his family and his friends, and he always loved to travel.

In addition to his parents, Russell is preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean Pike-Dike, one brother, and one sister.

He leaves behind his daughter Mischell Price; grandchildren Bailey O’Dell and Emiley Kerns (Derek); great-grandchildren Jayden London, Tristan Hobbs, and Peyton Kerns; sister Margaret Robinette; and close friend Troy Singleton.

    SO many of my memories growing up include Russell Paul & Memaw Betty. Thankful that i have all those memories now even more. Im sure gonna miss seeing him & hearing the new joke he would have for me every time. Rest in peace,RP. Tell Memaw Betty Mischell & I still aint changed one bit!

    As a young boy vising the farm. Russell taught me so much about the land. even took me high school with him one day My.First and only school bus ride. What a treat for a 9yr. boy, Loved him. RIP Russel.

    He was a great man. He was so welcoming to me into the family. He was generous, kind, and the kind of man that got along with everyone. He loved Betty with all his heart. He will be missed. Rest in peace Russell.

    Mr. Russell Paul was a good man. I spent a lot of time with him on the golf course and credit my love for the game to him. He will be missed and I’m thankful for knowing him.
