I am gone from this life
No more pain or earthly struggles
My journey on this earth has ended, and I am free.
There to greet me is my person, my mother Naoma, my first love, my angel from above.
The second person waiting to greet me is Beverly, my beloved wife, my one true love.
They met me with a warm smile and hug.
We sat by flowing waters, God’s arms wrap us with his love,
birds chirping, singing their songs,
deer frolicking in the meadows,
butterflies flittering by, bees buzzing,
all God’s creatures both big and small living in peace.
The air smells of honey and cherry blossoms,
beautiful flowers blooming everywhere,
the sun kisses us with its warmth,
the eagle soars in the skies above,
the wind whispers all glory to God,
Paradise is my home now.
Love and peace surround us, and we rest by the meadows,
where the rippling waters flow by, and I know I am home at last.
I am free of all my earthly struggles.
Please don’t cry for me.
I’m surrounded by all those who’ve gone before me that I have loved.
I love you all, and the day will come when we will meet by the flowing waters,
at the meadows edge, no more pain or earthly struggles.
My spirit has been set free and my body rests.
In loving memory of
Truman Hogans

Truman was my first brother-in-law, and I have to admit that as a young teenager that I crushed on him…but I won’t tell my sister….lol. Actually, I think I crushed on all of his brothers as well…..although years passed and time changed things and I never saw him anymore…. the last few weeks before The Lord called him home…I was Blessed to speak and pray over him daily. Although he is no longer with us in the flesh…he will live in our hearts and memories forever….until we meet again
