Betty Jean “BJ” Mancle, age 77, of Conway, Arkansas passed away on August 10, 2023. She was born in Taronza, Arkansas on April 4, 1946 to the late Bruce Gilmer and Bunie Hartley.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brothers Carrie Bruce Gilmer and Mike Gilmer.
She leaves behind her husband Frankie Mancle; children Pam Williams, Laura Newberry, and Haily Newberry; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings Glenda Hudgens, Geneva Wilson, Carl Gilmer, Rueben Gilmer, and Terry Gilmer; and many more friends and extended family.
Betty enjoyed bowling and going to the casino. She loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed by those who cherished her.
A family-hosted celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00pm at First United Pentecostal Church; 24 Center Road, Mayflower, Arkansas.
