Betty Jean Nix, age 79, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away on August 18, 2023. She was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on October 27, 1943 to the late James Ogden and Gertha Marie Clark.
Betty was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved flowers and always enjoyed gardening. Betty was very close with her grandchildren and enjoyed playing and spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Nix and siblings Leonard Ogden, Sharon Ward, Anita Mays, and Joy Brents.
She leaves behind her son Mary Nix (April); grandchildren Jackson Nix and Blair Nix; siblings Helen Dison, Buddy Ogden, Raymond Ogden, and Kenny Ogden; and many more friends and extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 10:00am at Kilgore Cemetery in Springfield, Arkansas.

To Marty & Family and Betty’s Siblings….praying you will find peace and comfort in your memories. Betty will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always be thankful for her kindness to our mother during the time she helped us care for her and for her friendship.
