Candis Su Harper, age 71, born in Ottumwa, IA on December 4, 1951 passed away on August 21, 2023. She graduated from Ottumwa high school and went on to receive her nursing degree from the University of Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister Cindy Lu and her parents Samuel and LuEllen Harper. She is survived by her brother Shawn Harper and sister Leone Fenton. She also survived by her 2 nephews and their families. Jake and Jill Harper and their twin daughters Hadley and Joslyn. Sam and Johanna Harper and their son Ethan. Candis lived her life as a loving Christian.
She will be laid to rest in the Ottumwa Cemetery at a date to be determined. Her family asks that any gifts be made to the dementia society or a church of your choosing in her honor.
