Carlos Martinez Vargas, age 63, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away August 5, 2023. He was born in Downey, California on April 16, 1960 to the late Alexandro Vargas and Lupe Martinez.
In addition to his parents, Carlos is preceded in death by his siblings Alex Martinez Vargas, Elvira Belen Dargo, and Silverio Vargas.
He leaves behind his sister Rose Salazar; his partner Clyde (Rick) Prouty, his best friend and cousin Richard Santacruz and all extended family; and many more friends and his dogs.
Charlie had love of music and cooking. He loved the lakes in Arkansas and he loved the mountains in California.
