We have lost an amazing friend and loved one and an awesome prayer warrior! It has been an honor and blessing to know Roland, and I am so grateful that this parting is a temporary one. Grieving now, but looking forward to a glorious reunion!
Mark and I sure loved Roland. He was a wonderful servant of the Lord and loved Him greatly. I know that the Lord is saying to Roland well done good and faithful servant. Patsy we love you and know that the Lord will be near you in this difficult time. May the Lord bless you and your family with His perfect peace. Love you ❤️

My sister, Jewell and I considered Roland a brother rather than a cousin. We grew up together visiting every summer and some holidays. He was so special and his Mom was a spiritual leader to her children and to us our whole lives. We still consider Aunt Lena as a spiritual giant and Roland became one himself. We love you Roland and will see you in Heaven forever.
When we moved to Cabot two years ago, we immediately joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. And there greeting me was Roland. He convinced me to join his Men’s Bible study. And the friendship began. Such a fine man; a true disciple. My regret is that I had not known him longer. i shall miss him.
Bob and I are so sad to hear of the passing of Roland. He was always a smiling face to greet us at church. We will miss sitting with him on Wednesday nights and hearing about his many adventures in life. Praying for peace through this difficult time.
We are so sad to hear of his passing. He will truly be missed. Dave and I am praying for you and your family.
Roland was a true friend! He and Patsy were there for you whenever you needed anything and especially when you needed prayers, you knew you could count on them both. Roland was a great example of what a Christian man should be and we will miss him and his smile! Looking forward to seeing you again, Roland!
It was an honor to know Roland. I enjoyed studying with him in our Men’s Bible Study group on Tuesday evenings. He was a dedicated prayer warrior and I will greatly miss his presence and that distinctive South Carolina accent.
Roland may be not with us but, he will a never be gone. His footprint in life are on the hearts of those that we’re around him. What more can a man leave as an inheritance on this side of life.
