David Harold Newsom, age 67, of North Little Rock went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1956 to the late Marshall Newsom and Catherine Edmonds.
David was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He owned and operated A-1 Heating and Air Conditioning of North Little Rock.
In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother Toney Newsom.
He leaves behind his wife of 48 years Sheila Newsom; children Jeremie Newsom (Suricca Newsom), Jenifer Newsom (Justin Park), and Amber Stallard (Mark Stallard); grandchildren Ashlyn Hayes (Kenneth Hayes), Kayla Newsom, David Newsom, Josh Stallard, and Carlie Stallard; great-grandchildren Davelee Hayes and McKenlyn Hayes; his furbabies Bubba and Sissy; and many more friends and extended family.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 1:00pm with a memorial service starting at 2:00pm at Landmark Baptist Church; 2200 Marshall Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076.

David will be missed he was a very giving person , if you needed anything done with your heat or air! He loved to play music at church and sing and ride 4 wheelers ! I’m sure that he’s not hurting now ! We pray for strength for the family !!
David lived a life that can be used as an example. Of how to work, how to love a family and have a good times. He will definitely be missed in many ways.
