Harold Stivers, 56, of Lonoke passed on to his final resting place on July 31, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. Born November 12, 1966 to the late Harold Lee Stivers Sr and Hanselee Stivers of Lonoke.
Harold attended Lonoke High School. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his cars! His signature mark was when he received his camouflage pair of prosthetics. Although it was a very rough time Harold embraced his new legs, he beat what they thought was the impossible. That’s the thing though, with his bloodline and determination it came easy. He had a wild loving spirit about him that couldn’t be denied! He truly enjoyed having fun and living life to the absolute fullest! He loved his family and it was always known, you never had you guess. Harold was a pick up the phone I need a favor friend. He gave his all to the ones he loved.
Harold is survived by the two absolute loves of his life, daughters Kassie Whiting (husband AJ), and Crystal Stivers (life partner Chad) both of Lonoke. He had the two most perfect grandchildren Alex and Kinsley Whiting of Lonoke. His mother Hanselee Stivers of Lonoke. Three siblings Carolyn (husband Sammy) of Cabot, Judy (husband Chris) of Austin, and Mark Stivers of Lonoke. And a host of nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts!
Harold is preceded in death by his father Harold Lee Stivers Sr, his beloved sister Frances (Fran) Harless and brother Dale Stivers. Also, a very special brother-in-law and friend Kenny Rickman.
Visitation will be Monday, August 7, 2023 starting at 1pm at Cross Covenant Church in Lonoke, funeral services to follow at 2pm. Harold will be placed to rest at Concord Methodist Cemetery after services.
When I enter the pearly gates of heaven and come into your glory land, instead of the mansion your promised Lord, just give me an old tree stand.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville on Harold’s behalf.
