
Karen Lynn Clark, age 64, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023. She was born in Miami, Florida on August 7, 1959 to the late Harald Gene Cold and Sarah Crockett Hughes.
Karen loved being outside gardening, family gatherings, watching movies, reading, shopping, and taking plane rides with her son. She enjoyed the beach and was a very outgoing person who loved talking to people. She took pride in being independent and how well she managed to take care of things. As an avid animal lover, Karen enjoyed time with her dog Layla, and cat Frankie. She was a caregiver to her mom, Sarah, for three years before she passed away in 2021. She would look after her mom day and night and always made sure she was comfortable. Karen loved with her whole heart and especially loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her grandson Eric Latch.
She leaves behind her children Lori Crowley, Todd Stevens, and Taylor Clark; sisters Angela Garringer (Gilbert) and Deborah Whitaker; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her beloved pets Layla, and Frankie; and a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
