Kenneth Joe Powell, age 45, of Prescott, Arkansas passed away on August 12, 2023. He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on August 30, 1977 to Ricky Joe Powell and Carolyn Benson.
Kenneth proudly served in the United States Army as a Combat Medic in Iraq. He enjoyed being a truck driver and diesel mechanic work. In his free time, he loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and children.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father Ricky Powell; paternal grandparents Ralph and Lavone Powell; maternal grandparents Floyd and Stella Benson; and his brother Billy Powell.
He leaves behind his wife Doris Valine Powell; mother Carolyn Benson (David Cullum); children Cody Powell, James Powell, Owen Powell, and Jada Powell; sister Kimberley Powell; step-sister Tracy Rutherford; and many more friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 6pm- 8pm in the Chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas, 72076.
In lieu of flowers, donations directly to the funeral home to help with the service are greatly appreciated.

He is and forever be loved. Will be missed also. He has fought his last battle being a Veteran. Now he can take off the armor and lay down his weapons and get his deserved rest and peace. I love you sir.
