
Terry L. Shuler, 73, of Alexander, AR passed away at her home on August 17, 2023.
Terry was born to Jonathan and Della Otwell on April 28, 1950 in Greensboro, NC. She joined the Air Force after graduating from Northwest Guilford High School in 1968. She met and married Walter Shuler and they had 2 sons, Tracy and Wesley.
After the death of her husband in 1984, she worked in various office jobs including tax accounting and real estate. She received her associate degree in business administration from Capital City Business College.
She also worked for many years at the American Red Cross, where she was lovingly referred to by her co-workers as “Squeaky” for her infectious laughter and squeaky voice.
After retiring from the Red Cross, she worked part-time at Target and at Liberty Tax during tax season.
She loved to cook, and she won the Arkansas National Chili Cook-Off 2 years in a row with her secret chili recipe.
Her favorite pass-time was crocheting, knitting and needle point and she made beautiful throws for her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jonathan and Della, her husband Walter, and her younger sister, Penny Otwell-Tucker.
She is survived by her children, Tracy and Wesley Shuler, her sister, Jo Key and her niece and nephew, Melissa Dungan and Bobby Stinson.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Rip Terry. I will always remember you likeing my mom’s homemade biscuits when we were in school. Those were the good old days
We grew up together, shared the same Granny& our families was close. I still can’t believe you are gone. We are same age. You will never be forgotten.
