Walter Edward Lindsay, age 77, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and savior on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Walter was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on June 21, 1946 to the late Edward “Harry” Lindsay and Sarah Almeria Tyler Lindsay.
Walter is survived by his daughter Jacquelyn Lindsay, a grandson Evan Metzger, a sister Harriet Lindsay and a brother Lee South, as well as a host of cousins and many other extended family members and friends.
Walter enjoyed sitting and reading his bible, visiting with family, friends and his bible study buddies especially any time spent with his grandson Evan. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed yard work when he was able to plant flowers that he loved.
A family hosted celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 2pm at Family Life Bible Church, 150 Hogan Lane, in Conway, Arkansas 72034 lead by Pastor Tommy Wallace.
Burial arrangements with military honors are private at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Family Life Bible Church in Conway.

He was my best friend for about 20 years. He will be sorely missed, but I am so glad that he is finally home with his beloved Lord Jesus!
