Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Larry “Tad” Gwyn Price Jr., age 52

Larry “Tad” Gwyn Price Jr., aged 52. Went to be with the Lord on September 7,2023. He was born on August 24,1971, in Little Rock Arkansas to Larry Gwyn Price Sr, and the late Nancy Moore Price. He is preceded in death by his mother and sister Marilee Rodefer. He is survived by his loving wife Brenda Price. Tad and Brenda were blessed with 30 of happiness and a marriage that was envied by many. They were blessed with two beautiful children. A daughter Jaclyn and a son Larry “Trey” Gwyn Price III. He is also survived by his father, brother, Jerry Price (Stephanie) their two children Jackson and Jasper. His Niece Mikki Rodefer and great nephew Tristan Seiter. As well as his God parents Gene and Susan Hicks

Tad loved being at deer camp, whether he got a shot at Big Bertha or Muy Grande or not. He loved just sitting and listening to nature. He loved to sit still and know that he was with God. Many tales have been told in the last few days about his life and great wisdom at deer camp. The most special of these tales is about a tree where his dad sat him and told him to stay there until he came back to get him. Forty-three years later, Tad’s deer stand is still on that same tree and shell casings are pushed into the tree for each deer that he has killed there.

Tad worked for Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority for 25 years where he was always willing to teach and mentor the men that he trained.

A celebration of life will be held on September 30, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Maddox Road Baptist Church, 702 East Maddox Road, Jacksonville AR, 72076.
