Lenda (Moore) Anderson, age 67

Lenda (Moore) Anderson, age 67, joined the Lord on Sept 16, 2023. She was born on April 28, 1956 in Tulare, CA to Sam Moore and Leola (Conner) Moore-Caswell.

Lenda met Stanley Anderson and married him in August, 1991. She has 3 children, Angelina (David) Overton, Nina (James) Green, and Elvis (Amber) Paslay. She also has 3 stepchildren, Leah (Jody) Roberson, Joe (Tricia) Anderson, and Brian Anderson. Altogether, she is survived by 24 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Lenda was a business owner and homemaker. She was a talented baker and cake decorator as well as drawing and crafting. She loved hosting large holidays and celebrations. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved spoiling her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing Facebook games and reading during her down time.  Lenda was an icon and a role model to all who knew and loved her.

Lenda is survived by her sister, Regena Makinson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Stanley Anderson, her brother, Darrell Moore, and her sister, Brenda (Moore) Hodges.

Lenda will be laid to rest next her husband, Stanley, at the Coffeyville Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas. We will be meeting at her favorite restaurant, El Puente at 2725 Highway 367 N, Newport AR on Thursday, Sept 21 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. to celebrate her life instead of holding a memorial service for her. All who wish to join us are welcome, along with stories anyone would like to share.
