Michael Joe Parnell SR, 60, of Conway, Arkansas passed away at home with his family after a short battle with cancer on August 31, 2023. He was born in Osceola, Arkansas on July 19, 1963, to Gene and Annie Faye Gann-Parnell.
Michael was a truck driver for many years over the road. He could give you directions to ANY exit nationwide, and was the best mechanic ever! He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to great music, and watching the Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jonathan Dewayne (aka. “Petey”), his brothers: Wilbur Parnell, John Parnell, David Parnell, and Bobby Parnell, and sisters: Donna Stokes (husband Larry Stokes) and Sarah Simmons.
Michael is survived by his wife Kim Parnell; his children; Jennifer Rameriz, Chelsey Parnell-Phillips, Justin Parnell, Joseph Parnell, and Michael Parnell II; 4 grandchildren; Eli Leach, Hoyt Phillips, Madison Cannon and Chloe Cannon.; his siblings; Judy Butler, Gary Parnell, Larry Parnell and Vickie Parnell; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
